Administrators please pass this on to as many people as possible, it's the real deal, i have nothing to gain from this but each person who see's it will see a bit of themselves in it, my wife ended up in tears at the end and she is not disabled, although i am.

Film Name I DANIEL BLAKE

A 59 year old carpenter recovering from a heart attack befriends a single mother and her two kids as they navigate their way through the impersonal, Kafkaesque benefits system. With equal amounts of humor, warmth and despair, the journey is heartfelt and emotional until the end.

I believe there are many like Daniel Blake. But there is no real Daniel Blake, So the DWP can say its fiction, however realistic it is.

I watched this film & as a 63 year old on Esa (support group).& Pip due to mental health problems I was shocked at how the system treated this guy...Well done to the film makers for highlighting this MUST SEE drama to give others the insight of the obstacles & hoops that genuine benefit claimants must manoeuvre through...

extremely realistic portrayals of the way that interviews and all the interactions with their staff are conducted! I bought the film.

The brilliant Ken Loach was quite rightly awarded a BAFTA for 'I, Daniel Blake', I watched it after Jeremy Corbyn tweeted him to wish him luck previous to this. There should be more of this on TV, to tell it how it really is, rather than all the ridiculous 'Benefit' programmes that mention the word 'Benefit' every other word. Who, for God sake talks of a benefit meal, & a benefit dog ....!
