My wife had her 1st tier tribunal at the end of January. She was awarded 10pts for planning and following journeys under descriptor (d) for stress after having 0pts at assessment. She has not had any contact from DWP yet. What will happen to the tribunal award if she hasn't received anything from DWP by 16 March?

It won't be affected.

It usually takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal result.

Have you confirmed with the DWP that they have received the Tribunal's Decision Notice?

Thank you Gordon. I will contact them tomorrow to check that they have received it from the court. If they haven't do I contact the court?

Hello

Regarding going out, specifically descriptors 'c' and 'd' that exclude psychological distress, can you include the side effects of mental health medications that impact on ones ability to plan a route or follow an unfamiliar journey?

Many thanks.

You can make the argument (and I would), but I think it unlikely that you will score the points, the medication is intrinsically linked to the conditions that you take it for and I think that will allow the DWP to disregard the effects.

Yep, thought that might be the case. Back to square one then!

Thank you.
