Life starts again today...

After over 2 years of failed claims to transfer from DLA to PIP we opened that dreaded brown envelope yesterday
I could hardly believe my eyes when i saw that my son has been awarded Higher rate on both units.
This is entirely due to the information gained here and taking my time to gather Support and evidence and presenting it in the correct manner.
I have had no sleep for months and my son now has some self respect back in his life and the fear has melted away.
I stepped away from it for 6 months and got more professionals on Board,applied to become his Appointee, and spent many hours with a HiLiter pen with that precious download, and re writing that claim form over and over
we got a home visit and more points than we expected.
I spent a good time reading all the advice on here and the experiences of others.
A huge thank you to all that contribute to the site.
We got back payment to last July as thats how long it has taken, and I can now claim Carers Allowance and it has literally saved us from selling our beloved home
My son was so depressed I was fearing for his life and he is now putting some plans in action to improove his situation
