Hi I have to go from DLA indefinite ....to pip ....filled in forms submitted medical evidence from cpn
And doctor...my cpn wrote that I have agoraphobia panic attacks ect and that ...but still I have to go for medical next week ...it's as if they never looked at any of the medical evidence that I submitted with my form ...now my cpn has to contact them to say I can't go for a medical and I won't be going ...do they really give a dam ...shocking to say the least

Please be careful in going down this route.
The Assessment Provider can only do a paper assessment if they have sufficient information to do this, if they have requested an assessment then they are saying that they do not have sufficient information to do this.
It may be possible for your CPN to provide additional evidence to allow a paper assessment to be done but if this is not accepted then you must attend the assessment or you risk your claim being closed.
Would a home assessment offer a reasonable alternative, you will need your GP to write to the AP explaining why you cannot attend at their offices.

Thanks for your input ...I phoned the ATOS centre ...asking them if they ever look at the evidence I sent in ...any way to cut a long story short ...I received a phone call from my cpn telling me that she had ATOS on the phone and that I was getting a home visit from ATOS which will be on the 16th of this month ..I will keep you posted about the outcome ....also I would like to say the man I spoke to at ATOS ..phone line was very sympathetic th my needs ...angel
