Pip standard rate car tax was created by sue hudson
Hi I'm still here surving thanks to your help and support . I am in the process of taxing my car . I was higher rate mobility DLA but in September I was moved to standard rate PIP . Can I go to the Post Office or do I have to send my documents to the DVLA? Thank you soooo much couldn't survive without you . Regards sue ( crazy cat lady ) :)

My understanding is that you need to tax the car normally and then request 50% refund from DVLA. If my memory serves me this meant that you had to send it to the DVLA as well, but I'm not 100% sure of this.

Basically no one thought of the problems claimants would have who only qualified for Standard PIP Mobility.
