URGENT regards new rules for claiming PIP

Hi, very worrying email received today regards the 'changes' to eligibility to qualify for PIP.

My wife is waiting tor the renewal claim from the DWP which is now very worrying as the last time she had a face to face with the 'HCP' and lost 3/4 of her benefit even though her condition hadn't changed/improved. We could have challenged that decision but her mental state is quite such that to ad more stress and anxiety would have cause some serious problems!.
Do The changes apply from the 16th March? ,
Question I have regards all this is, Is this change for firstly, new claimants or will renewals also come under the change straight away? also if the renewal claim comes before the 16th then will the new rules not apply?
Sent from 2 now very worried people

May I ask, as has been mentioned on various well known media outlets in the past week, that it wouldn't be out of the realm of expectation of DWP, to hold back on a whole raft of decision making, until post March 16th.

This alone is incredulous and how what they are doing, cannot be against one's human rights, when a criminal for e.g. can seemingly be treat in a much better, more understanding and helpful way - is beyond me and only festering further as the days and weeks pass.

I wish I won the lottery, I would drag the Government, DWP and Capitas / ATOS and some Politicians through the higher courts trust me! If Gina Miller can do it, I'm sure we could if we could afford it, alas we can't and they know that.

However, for e.g. my initial DLA > PIP claim application was sent back last month and you can bet your bottom $, that even though they recieved it before March 16th, they will make a decision on mine like thousand's of others post March 16th.

So my question, is this actually legal for them to do so for already "received" applications / renewals?

If so, they are then untouchable, wholly unaccountable (whatever they say) and so unbelievably immoral and inhumane it's untrue.

Can you imagine the uproar and potential court cases, if a family member was for e.g. in plane crash *god forbid but for this hypothetical scenario* and the airline maker / service provider stated that they had got wind of a change, that would work in their favour and therefore, would not consider any liability claims until post this date?!

You could fit the above hypothetical scenario to many more if you think about it and then, it further deepens the utter dismay at the whole handling of PERSECUTING disabled persons, no better than what it used to be like apparently, for persons of various physical or mental health challenges in the earlier to mid 20th century!!!!

Regards,

A deeply unhappy and severely cheesed off DLA > PIP applicant but one who feels this for ALL claimants in the current state that we find it all in.
