Norwich Prince of wales PIP site was created by J330MSD
Well had my date come up for PIP assessment at Norwich Prince of wales for 1:15 PM.
Got there at 1:00 PM, taken by my wife, I am in a transport Chair and it took 2 hours to get their.
A receptionist took all the details and then said "come back as we can't see you today!!!!!!!>
What we say it's just after 1 PM.
He was adamant that they were a assessor down and OVER BOOKED appointment wise!!!!.
My wife went mad and we left, phoned the DWP and advised them of the "Practice" now used at this establishment and they were very concerned taking all the details and name of the receptionist.
We Phoned ATOS and they took all the info and were also shocked.
We are now going elsewhere, but the stress was high, be warned.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

I'm afraid this happens far to often, the Assessment Providers deliberately overbook as they know they know that they will get a lot of cancellations on the day, but this practice gives them no flexibility when their own staff go off sick.
You can make a complaint to the Assessment Provider if you wish.

The DWP have no operational responsibility for the assessment process, this is entirely down to the Assessment Provider.
