I'm currently in the Support Group for ESA due to mental health problems. I qualified in the past due to reg 35 "Substantial Risk" but understand from the ESA Guide that this is less likely to happen in the future. I don't qualify for means-tested benefits and have already used up my year in the WRAG back in 2015. I've just sent off my ESA50 with letters from my Psychiatrist and Psychologist, but obviously due to the changes I'm not optimistic. My question is, if I get put into the WRAG with no payment would I still be expected to do work related activity in return for just NI credits? (even though the health professionals treating me say this would be seriously detrimental)
