Hi Gordon,

As an update, I received a letter from dap today, that they now have all the information to make a decision.
I posted the form re more information on my mobility last week, which was received, signed for Monday 13th. Now it's just the wait to see, if they are going to assess me under the old rules or new rules as of tomorrow.

To help people moving forward, I received my renewal form, the new form with tick boxes the first week in January. I returned it the last week in January, signed for next day delivery.

I ticked no change in most boxes, but I ticked harder in moving around. I enclosed an updated prescription list, plus a letter from my doctor, proof I was attending a psychiatrist once a week and a letter from my friend, who does my shopping, etc.

I heard nothing until last Wednesday the 8th March, when I received a letter asking me to confirm and sign when did my mobility issues started. Today I received a letter, saying they had all the information to make a decision, so now the wait begins and just have to hope it goes it ok.

I have renewed my subscription today, as the advice, guides on here is invaluable in helping all of us moving forward.

Hi Gordon,

I wanted to update you and thank you and all the moderators for all your help.

I got my decision today, they have kept my enhanced rate of daily living and have also giving me low mobility until February 2021.

The decision letter is dated the 17th March 2017, but the decision maker has used the 1st January 2017 as my review date, the date the PIP review form was issued.

On the mobility they gave me 10 points for planning and following a journey. You can't undertake any journey because it would cause you mental distress.? They have also backdated this to the 1st January and have paid the arrears into my account already for this.

As this was a paper review, they said they used my doctors letters and psychiatrist's reports. They also said that they used the information provided by the health professional review report. I was wondering could I get a copy of this report and what is the name of the report that I have to ask for?

It is just a relief this is over and I know that considering the date of the letter is the 17th, I am very lucky they assessed under old rules and also used the date of the issue of the review form of 1st January

Hi Michael,

It is great news that you have an award you are happy with. Thanks for letting us know :)

You can phone DWP and ask for a copy of the assessors form - it will be a PA3 as you did not have a face2face assessment.
