Hello again,
May I ask if you know if DWP do google & social media searches on claimants claiming benefits like ESA & being transferred from DLA to PIP at all?
I'm worried they will think my online social profile is too active when I'm saying on the forms I have a problem socialising.
Which is true in person, but I dont know what I would without the internet otherwise I would be completely isolated!
Also if I decide not to go for the DLA to PIP transfer, would they wonder why & this would trigger them automatically looking at my ESA award again?

I've never heard of this happening but that does not mean that it doesn't.
It's a decision you have to make when you participate in social media applications, many allow the user to secure their footprint so that only those that they wish to have access to their comments, etc.

Iv heard of potential employers doing this so I wouldnt put it past DWP.
My facebook is private & secure but id be worried about google searches.
Call me paranoid, just wondered if you guys had a stance on it.
Or if anyone else has any comments?

Yes they do- a friend of mine was asked about stuff she had put /said she did on her Facebook page.

This happened to a neighbour , and printouts of their Facebook was used against them!

My only comment would be that you can see what information is available about you on the web for yourself, so check.
