Severe disibility premium was created by dawsden
I have been awarded enhanced care PIP. Along with award letter they sent me a form for severe disibility premium. I filled it in, sent it off but after spending best part of the morning trying all different numbers someone at JCP has told me that it's not been received. My question is...does anyone know what department deals with this benefit also if it will affect my other benefits. This guy I just spoke to (who sounded half asleep) has told me not, but he didn't seem very clued up to be honest...help!

The Sever Disability Premium is not paid as part of your PIP but rather as part of any Income Related benefit that you are receiving, so ESA(IR), Income Support, Etc.

You need to contact the DWP office dealing with this benefit in regard the IS10 form.
