So, I was required to be reassessed after some 18 months after my initial application. The letter today is almost identical to the one I received in June 2015, neither have indicated how long before I'll be reassessed again? I've written repeatedly to them asking for clarification but never get a reply! This site advises that reassessments are typically every 3 years.
My queries are, is it typical that I've been reassessed after only 18 months? Also, could this happen again, or will I be left for longer? On both occasions my GP was asked to provide evidence. I used B&W guides this time but not initially. I was very thorough.
If I ring DWP how likely would they tell me how long until next reassessment? Also will they have completed any medical report re their decision that I can request a copy of?

Hi L,

Congratulations on being placed into The SG once more ! :)

There does still seem to be backlogs with ESA Assessments/Reassessments, and some members have reported that their assessments have been deferred for 2 years. See : This News Article

ESA Reassessments can be carried out at any time after 3 months have elapsed since the date of a decision.

In reality each ESA award comes with a prognosis period which is the recommended period before the award should be reassessed.

Normally, the maximum period is 3 years, but it can be before or after that period.

The Decision Notice letter that you receive does not include the prognosis period.

Further information on how to find out the recommended date for your next reassessment and how to request the ESA documentation used in coming to the decision can be found in This Post

As you can see, there will have been an ESA85A Medical Report generated even though you did not have a F2F.

Hi bro58 and many thanks. From what you advise I think I will write either a letter or using the SAR form. Either way I can take time to do it properly. Presumably they can't ignore this in the way they've ignored previous letters that didn't cite the correct terms! Would it really hurt them to be helpful once in a while?

Hi I followed bro58s advice as per earlier post and sent an SAR form to the Wolverhampton address on my ESA letter. He advised they have 40 calendar days to reply. Tomorrow those 40 days are up and I wouldn't be surprised if I don't receive what I've requested. I know the SAR was received as I sent it via signed for service. Any advice?

Liam

You need to chase the DWP, it is unusual for a SAR not to be answered within the 40 days.
