Collecting Medical supposrt

I am having little success in collecting additional medical letters of support from my doctor/consultant. They both have pointed out that it is the DWP responsibility to contact them is they should need further info regarding my condition. This is after I made an offer to pay?
My question is this.....has anyone been successful in gaining their PIP awards, with out additional letters of support?

It is possible but you will have to work harder on the PIP2 to explain your problems.
Keep a diary of your daily activities and the difficulties you have.
Keep a walking diary and track the distance, time and number of steps that you take. Measure out a walking are in your house so you can easily work out how far you have gone.
Read the PIP Claim guide and in particular the section on "reliably".
If you have further questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.

Can you advise whether it would be advantageous to enclose a letter of support from my husband?

I would keep the diary going as long as you can.
It certainly can't hurt for your husband to write a letter of support.
