Help on moving from DLA to PIP - new member was created by Maggie65
I joined this group to try to help my brother who has been on DLA for many years. He has received a letter saying his DLA entitlement is ending and if he wants to apply for PIP he firstly needs to have a telephone interview then complete a form they will send out afterwards. My brother is not good on the phone so I hope to assist. Where will I find any helpful reading to prepare for this please?
Any help is appreciated as I am a total novice!

You and/or your brother need to read our PIP Claim guide on the following link
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip
It covers the phone call and the questions that will be asked and also how to complete the claim for that he will subsequently receive.
If necessary you can make the call for him, but he will need to be present to answer the security questions and to authorise you to speak on his behalf.
If you have further questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
