ESA Change of Adress was created by raymond
I have been on contribution based ESA for a while and recently had to change address, with no other difference in my living arrangements,so i duly went to the local job center with a letter to inform of change of address they took a copy and stated i have to inform the Wolverhampton head office myself-which i did by phone they took all my details of the change and asked various questions about my living arrangements which i answered but told them this had not changed -it was just a change of address.
The next couple of days i got an ESA3 form to fill in i contacted them and they said my ESA been suspended because on their screen it says i may want to claim for another person?- they said they can do nothing else until i send back this form-i have filled it in but do not understand why,and also will i get bac the monies due to me has i have no other income.
Kind Regards
Ray

Hi Raymond,

I'm afraid you will need to fill in the form now that it has been sent. It could be to your advantage if you have no other income (as long as you meet the other criteria) as you might be entitled to an income-related top-up. You should not be left worse-off as a result of this.
