Hi,

At the moment I am on C based ESA in the SG.

I am also in receipt of DLA MRC and HRM.

If I were to put a claim in for Income Related ESA and get the premiums, if at a later date I were to get and move in with a partner, would my C based ESA SG remain in tact with the loss of any Income Related ESA?

Also, I stopped being a student with a scholarship in September 2016. I had 12 equal monthly payments, one per month from the start to the end of the course - which lasted a year. Could I get ESA to back date the premiums back to when I stopped being a full time, bursary student?

Thanks

ESA(CB) is paid to the individual and is not affected by their living with someone, so it would remain in payment even if you did.

The Premiums should be backdated to when you became eligible to receive them, your scholarship may prevent payment, or may reduce what you could have received, it will depend on what Premiums you were entitled to and the prorated weekly amount for your scholarship.
