PIP Award Review was created by The-Optimist
Hi,

I'm currently filling in the PIP award review form. There are some things that have improved for me so I want to tick the box that says "Easier". There is then a "What has happened?" space and "From" and "To" boxes. There are some things that when I was assessed in 2014 are not so much of an issue any more such as self-care around eating, washing and dressing that were problematic when I was in the grip of severe depressive episodes. I'm worried, however, that if I say that these problems resolved some time ago, that is a "change" I didn't make them aware of and they'll demand money back.
Do my worries have any basis in reality?

Kind Regards,

Anthony

If your change of condition would mean that you are no longer eligible for the level of benefit that you now receive, I suggest you contact DWP straight away and inform them, also explaining why you have not done so before.

On the other hand, if the changes are such that they do not make any difference to the award you are receiving, I don't think there will be an issue.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
