If they hadn't deferred the first reassessment it would have been 24 months for me. As it is, it's going to be at least 6 years since I was transferred over to ESA until I'm reassessed. Not that I'm complaining. I've got at least another 22 years until retirement age so no doubt I'll be going through a few before then.

Any ideas as to at what point would they would defer the reassessment, that is would they do it at the time due on the prognosis or earlier?

If they are deferring reassessments again, then I would expect the decision to be made when the claimants award comes up to be looked at again.

My paperwork stated I was due for reassessment December 2016 but when I finally plucked up courage to ring up yesterday they said it was now December 2018. At least I can relax now.

Yes mine has been deffered also to 2019 , really not complaing was dreading going through re assessment so a pleasent suprise !
