Hello all,
I am in the ESA support group and get PIP enhanced rate care and lower rate mobility. out of the blue I have got a renewal for my ESA and then 2 days later I have been summoned to see the DWP for a benefits review. This is on the 28th March. should I be worried?
Thinking about my claim for ESA when looking through the papers I found the report that the Assessor did for my PIP claim. this accounts very well what my illness is like. Would it help to put a copy of this report in with my claim
Thanks in anticipation..

I wouldn't be, although I realise this is easier said than done.

ESA reassessments are issued by what I call the DWP and benefit reviews are done by JC+, so I doubt very much that either knew what the other was doing.

The "DWP" are the people in the back offices that nobody ever sees and are rarely spoken to, Decision Makers are part of this group.

The "JC+" staff are the people in your local benefit office who handle the day to operation of benefits such as ESA WRAG and JSA.

Have a look at the following.
