DLA to PIP for a deaf person. was created by Jinty
Hi,
I am new to the Forum and have joined as I will need help re my son and his wife both transferring to PIP.
Both are registered totally deaf without speech and receive DLA just now. They do not understand English other than 'pigeon English' and need a Sign Language Interpreter for Doctors, Dentists, and numerous other occasions. Whilst I can do 'family signs' I am not proficient should there be any important issues which arise.
Can I ask if any of the members have had experience in completing the PIP form for a deaf person and have any advice re same.
Cheers
Janet

You first need to select the guide at the top of the list.
