New PIP changes from March 16th was created by RossaR
Hi
I've been using the members guides and this forum for PIP which are so helpful thank you.
I'm a bit unclear. On my form which has to be in by end of March my questions are different to the ones in the b and w pip claim guide. I'm looking at the brand new guide and the previous one. My questions are Q1 to Q15 I have fewer sub questions to answer.
I'm asking because I'm concerned about the recent news about the Going out section. This is question 13 on my form and I have to answer Q13a to q13d. It says in the guidelines that this section is about if 'severe anxiety or distress prevents you from being able to go out. It doesn't look at your physical ability to get round, which is covered in the next section.'
Have I got a really old form? Or a very new one and they've decided to do the right thing and keep this descriptor about severe psychological distress? Confused... please help. Thanks

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Is it possible that you have received the PIP Review form rather than the PIP2?
This is also covered in the PIP Claim guide.

Hi Gordon,
The form I've got is the 'How your disability effects you' 1003. I think I was getting the descriptors confused with the questions on the form.
Hard to imagine that anyone could find the PIP process confusing right?
Its taking me weeks.
Thanks again for the guides - they have helped a lot.
