Mobility award PIP was created by VJC
I have been told that the Law states that I cannot have my mobility part of PIP increased because of being aged 65 or over. Is this so? VJC.

If this was a reassessment for PIP, after the age of 65 and you did not have the Mobility component in your previous award, then it cannot now be award. This is the same as DLA.

However, if this was the result of an invitation to claim PIP to replace an existing DLA award, then even if you were over 65 when invited then the PIP Transitional Regulations do allow the award of either the Standard or Enhanced rate of Mobility.
