paperless pip was created by TSB
I received a call from Atos today asking for the number of anyone
they could contact regarding my pip claim. I had given details of 2 consultants a GP and my current surgeon together with my specialist rheumatologist nurse , the HP was very nice and said they were trying to cut down on f2f assessments , we spoke for
Ten minutes or so and i explained id since had another operation (my fourth in 12 weeks) and the best person to speak to would be my specialist nurse whose number was on the front of my claim form,
I wondered if the phone call was really just to sound me out or if the specialist nurse will actually get a call . I did send very detailed reports and photos of my deformed joints and an x-ray of my collapsed spine and hospital discharge letters (I have had over 22 operations)
I wonder if any other paperless PIP claimants had a similar experience?

If they have contacted you about the references then I think it likely that they will contact your Consultants.

Forgive me but what do you mean by a paperless PIP claimant?

Apologies Gordon , I meant paper assessment (not f2f)
I have zero positive resistant RA .
I took advice regarding evidence from your site , fortunately I get copies of all consultant letters to my GP and have always saved them so the process has been straightforward but stressful,
I also wrote on the bottom of each PIP claim page 'evidence enclosed'
Filled in a diary and sent the package registered
I would be happy to go to any f2f as the condition of my joints and the advanced medication I take ( biological, disease modifying and steroids

As I mentioned the HP was very nice and I was able to tell her more about my pain , I had previously been on morphine for months which left me with insomnia also i could not take naproxin with methatrexate , interactions with medicine may not be something they are aware of and I had not put this on my form
Kind regards

I just had a telephone call from a nurse answered a few questions (which made sense) and showed where I had missed stuff out

off the back I got 22/24 points and ten years award also said cutting down on face to face
