WCA result letter, can anyone help decipher? was created by moutainsandoceans
Hi there,

Recently got decision letter back through the post. I was expecting a phonecall, as that's how I was notified last time, but glad to hear relatively sooner via mail this time around.

I believe they have put me in support group.

But the last page (I've attached copies for you to look at if that helps) confused me a little.

Does it mean that I'm only on this rate/in support group, until April 2017?

Can I expect to get notified of how long I've got in it if I'm mistaken here?

Thanks.

Congratulations on the award.

ESA payment rates are revised every year in April so that's why the letter refers to April 2018.

Your award will remain in place until your are reassessed. You can contact the office dealing with your claim and ask when you will be reassessed, the date should be on the ESA computer system.

Thanks Gordon, after thinking it was unfathomable for so long, I'm stunned and hope this gives others hope.

I see, would that be sent to me if I request the assessment reports? Am I correct in thinking the form is called the ESA85?

Thanks again.

Yes the assessment report is called an ESA85 if you had a face to face assessment and an ESA85A if you did not. The prognosis that the assessor will have made is usually used to set the reassessment date.
