Won appeal last week. was created by Kate
Hi I'm new to this it's great you got the right award. I was given pip in 2014 awarded till 2019. Enhanced daily living component. And standard mobility . I got 13 points and 12. Was advised to put in a change of circumstances as I got worse may 2016. I had a assement recently and was awarded 6 points and 4. So my claim is now stopped. I sent them information. Psychological letters school letter explaining why Iv been late some days. I have asked for a mandotry reconsideration today. The adviser said to get a doctors letter disagreeing the health p had put in the assement. I'm beyond myself with worry. Any advice please ? X

I've moved your post to it's own topic, we ask members not to post their questions in other members topics as it leads to the wrong advice being given or taken.

I would follow up your phone request for an MR in writing their are template letters in the PIP section that you can use. If you intend to send more information then make this clear in the letter, they should allow you four weeks to do this, but sooner is better.

Can you get the suggested new evidence?

Yo may find that there are discrepancies in the assessment report, possibly a lot, it can be tempting to address all of these, but you will only receive an award by showing you meet the criteria for award, so this must be your first priority, I'm not saying to ignore the report, but deal with issues that are actually related to your scoring.

I would go through your PIP2, the report and our PIP Claim guide to make sure you have shown that you meet the legally defined Descriptors. If applicable make use of "reliably" and "on the majority of days".

If you have further questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
