DLA to PIP. Failed was created by Probation789
Hi,

Just thought I would update you. Requested Assessors report and knew the outcome would be fail. Granddaughter seemed to score only 7 points for daily living and 4 points for mobility. I rang DWP this morning to see if decision had yet been reached (the assessment was nearly five weeks ago) and yes, decision has just been made to refuse PIP and decision would be going in the post any day now. Said I can submit MR to reach them by 22/04/17.

I think there are a couple of points that can be picked for DL but not sure how to word request to look at mobility. She needs more than just prompting, she cannot travel alone. Anyway it's back to the guides, I feel all PIPPed out though. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Wobbly legs

You will need to show that she

e. Cannot undertake any journey because it would cause overwhelming psychological distress to the claimant.
