Hi
I have read what you have said is the minimum stated of 4 weeks to make my submission for the paper hearing and up to 7 days before for an oral hearing
I have requested an oral hearing.
sorry to have to clarify again I am asking has I have appointments at the spinal clinic on the 7th June and decisions will be made has to what further treatment will be needed and I am hopeing to supply further evidence about this with my response submission.
I have been advised by the tribunal that their is approx. 17 weeks wait in my area at the moment which means the Tribunal date should be sometime in September!

Mr Frog

If you have requested an Oral hearing then your submission must be with the Tribunal Service no later than seven days before the hearing, although I would recommend that you send it earlier than this.

Hi Thanks for previous reply
Forgot to ask the DWP are using the get out clause that I can use 'Aids' on all the descriptors that apply to minimise me scoring points, although my heart and spondylosis means I have difficulty to grip.
Could you help in how we should answer this and direct us to where the definitions of Aids etc are in your guides so we can use this information

Nearly all of the PIP activities take into account the use of suitable aids to one extent or another, there is no escaping this.

Using an aid is not necessarily a bad thing as you should expect to score points for this providing you can show that the use is necessary.

However, if you can't use the aids then you need to explain why this is the case and you need to do this for each aid, or at least group of aids and for each activity even if the issues are the same.

The PIP Claim guide has a list of aids for each activity.
