I got my appointment for f2f my daughter cannot attend due to her having a previous appointment. Can I take someone else with me or do I inform Atos to get another appointment. Would it go against me to take a friend. I am so worried. Have anyone had this experience. Please help.thanks distress Lee. What happens at an f2f :( :(

You can take who you want to the assessment. Be aware, you can cancel the appointment providing you have not already done so, but you must attend any second appointment whenever or wherever it is.

HI Lee,

I have merged your question with a similar query you made a day or two ago as we ask members to keep everything relating to the same claim in one place.

As you mention ATOS I assume this assessment is for PIP? What to expect is explained in the PIP guide

PIP help for claimants

Try not to worry too much Lee. Make a few pointers of the important health issues you have and relate them to the reasons why you are unable to work. Please post here how you got on. Anxiety can cripple people and they can end up not remembering the important points they wanted to get across.

Hi Caiti and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

Just to point out that PIP has nothing to do with the ability to work!
