hi,

my sister never goes out alone due to severe learning disabilities . cannot read or write . has no road sense. she cannot follow or plan any journey alone , she always needs to be accompanied to keep her safe. will descriptor f ,going out apply? but we never use public transport i always take her out in the car if we go out,

The key issue you need to show is that she cannot navigate or follow a route on her own due to cognitive impairment, be aware that you will need to show having someone with her is necessary and not precautionary because her family is being over protective, so try and give some real world examples of the problems she has.

Thanks for getting back to me.
I'm also her appointee and she has always had someone with her . When she was of school age She had a guide to get her to and from school.She also had a stroke and has austim and anxiety disorder. She would walk out in traffic , would not be safe alone Cannot read , wouldn't be aware of danger . Would this be the sort of things to write in pip 2?
