PIP mob - any point appealing now - OCD

Being that psychological stress is ruled out on PIP mobility, how do I stand with OCD? Seeing as OCD is all about psychological distress, can I get anywhere by arguing – cannot plan a journey reliably, cannot complete a journey successfully the majority of the time, or within a reasonable time due to unforeseen triggers on route, cannot repeat due to exhaustion, knock on effect of feeling contamination from triggers, affecting me for days, weeks or months after. I cannot plan a journey because they are actually unplanable (by anyone reliably) due to my triggers which can vary by the minute, anywhere at any time. Although I have the intelligence to plan. Although all these descriptors apply, it is still psychological distress involved.

I have put in for an appeal for PIP mobility, but am wondering whether to bother now the rules have changed.

There is always the worry of losing Daily Living which I have just got with 12 points.

I'll be honest and say the all you can do is present and argue your case.

Your Decision was made before the change to the Descriptors so the Tribunal panel have to use the law that was in effect at the time that the Decision was made,, so the requirement for "psychological distress" should not be considered.

Remember that Descriptor (f) is still about navigation, the UTT Decision did not change this, so your arguments will need to be focussed on showing that your OCD prevents you from doing this.
