Hi
I have just received the date for my F to F interview.

I found your guidance when filling in the PIP2 form invaluable & so it was my 1st port of call when I received the appointment letter. My claim is for the mobility activities element of PIP

I have read the relevant section in the B&W guidance on F to F & are concerned about the list of informal observations the HP will make as these are subjective  assumptions. Will my ability to walk be based on how clean & tidy the HP thinks I look, my skin tone & if I smile? I would hate to think that I have to put on an act (by dressing scruffy & having no make up) to be successful in my claim as I am a happy optimist who tries to make the best of my limited lifestyle.

ANY advice from anybody about the F to F will be welcome

They will most certainly make assumptions about your limitations based on the things that they see during the assessment and also how you have travelled to the appointment, but the only ones that would be relevant to your walking will be how far they see you walk on the day.

PaxyMaxy I certainly didn't dress down and my claim about the distance I could walk was not even mentioned, the walking I demonstrated and was observed to do was how I normally behave, so don't worry. If what is on your PIP2 is accurate you don't need to "put on an act".
I did get the points I felt were due.
