DLA to PIP was created by sirius1
:woohoo: Having spent years on benefits do to multiple health issues including a stroke. Also having many battles with DWP and winning every time I came to 65 years old 18 months ago,
I was expecting some sort of notification to apply for transfer from DLA to PIP. So far nothing has come through, I a wondering if they are now automatically changing you over and have reviewed the cut off date for automatic transfer, or am I still going to get the dreaded brown envelope and must start the stressful and time wasting fight again ?.
Has anyone else still found themselves in my situation ? or are long term sick with no possibility of recovery still being hounded to our grave by the likes of Capita/ Atos or who ever else the DWP get to do their dirty work.

Hi and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

People who were below the age of 65 in April 2013 will be 'invited' to apply for PIP at some stage, no matter how old they are at that time.

It would be a good idea for you to have a good look at our PIP guide so that you know what to expect when the time comes

If you have further questions, please reply to this message and we will do our best to help. You will find it easily in future if you bookmark/favourite it on your web browser now :)
