For PIP, it is not the medical condition in itself that may or may not result in a PIP Award, moreover it is the limitations/disabilities that you suffer as a result of the medical conditions, and whether you can tie in these limitations and disabilities to the relevant PIP Activities/Descriptors to score enough points for an award.
This is why the PIP 2 is called The "How your disability affects you" Questionnaire.
