When a person has an assessment but has no one to be with them, would a skype friend be allowed to "witness" the proceedings ?

Hi D,

I have never heard of this scenario being suggested previously, but as things stand, and considering how strict they are regarding audio recording of a F2F, I doubt it.

They have started using skype/video links for Tribunal Hearings and intend to do so more in the future.

However, as always, you have the security, data protection issues to deal with.

Plus of course you would need to gain the Assessor's permission and I don't think they like being "on camera"
