dla payday monthly or weekly ? was created by jack
my dla has been stopped and pip not awarded.my query is that they tell me the decision was made on 6 feb and although i wasnt next paid until the end of feb ,they said its a weekly payment so they calculate 28 days from the week following the 6th. I 've always been paid monthly and say my payday is the day i get paid .Anyone got any solid info on this ? the legislation says 28 days after next payday.

DLA is definitely not a monthly payment, it is either four weeks in arrears (majority of claims) or one week in advance and three weeks in arrears.

When a PIP Decision is made, even if adverse then the DLA claim is continued for a further four weeks before being closed.
