Esa appeal and pip appeal was created by AdamGibson
Ive currently got an esa appeal going as i was moved from the support group to WRAG and my illness of anxiety depression and panic attacks have gotten much worse since my last assessment. I have looked at all the guides and samples of what to write and im so happy i got help from you guys. Im still scared though incase they throw me off all together as ive heard it happens to people. The HCP and the DWP staff lie out their back teeth. Everything they put was rushed and all lies. Like saying i turned up alone when my relative was with me. How can they do that? Has any one else had this done to them and does anyone have any advice for me etc. I basically havent a clue what to do anymore i feel suicidal. I was awarded pip for 2 years and after 1 year i had a review and now ive had all of that took from me. They will be doing this to try and make me look for work, well it aint going to happen as i cant leave the house without someone. I also have been put on a work programme that is horrible they said i cant claim forever and im just being greeding if i appeal my claim. Please any advice will be much appreciated. How am i ment to prove anxiety. I have given letters from GP which are upto date and state im unfit for work. They just said face my fears and dont be bone idol. They are so rude. Thanks guys. Hope i can get somewhere. X

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

Dealing with the Work Programme first. I'm afraid that this is a normal part of being in the WRAG and you must comply with any mandatory activities or you risk your benefit being sanctioned. If you feel that the activities you are being asked to do conflict with the limitations that result from your conditions then you should raise this with your adviser and if necessary, escalate the issue to their supervisor.

Your appeal gives you another opportunity to present your case, so you should look at how you can present your case to the panel. Your primary goal is to explain how you meet the ESA Descriptors to be placed in the Support Group.

Have a look at the ESA Claim guides for details of the criteria you need to meet and explanations on how to show you meet these. If you have further questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
