Reassessment for ESA after 4 months? was created by Rogue75
I was in the Support Group for a couple of years after being on Income Support for a long time. In December I had a F2F assessment and was put into WRAG. I have only had a couple of sessions with the Shaw Trust in the Work Programme and I'm slowly making progress getting my life back in order although I'm nowhere near actually looking for work. I do want to return to work at some point as being on benefits is extremely limiting. I have no social life, very little support(either via friends or mental health services) and barely enough money to live on.

My diagnosis was recently changed from depression and psychosis to bipolar, and now I've just received a new Capability for Work questionnaire after only 4 months. I'm mortified and it's making me feel terrible because I had such a hard time filling it out before. Not only that, my mod is on an upswing and am likely to appear completely normal if I have another F2F. If I'm found fit for work and have to claim JSA, I will be in severe financial difficulties as I am in a lot of debt and am struggling as it is on WRAG. Has anyone got any advice? I'd be very grateful.

At the moment all I can advise is for you to complete the ESA50 in detail as if it was a new claim and to supply any relevant evidence that you have even if you have sent it in before.

Please read the current ESA Claim guide to make sure that you understand the criteria against which you are being assessed and if you have further questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
