Sent alot of paper to them at a industrial estate, they received it all on the 27th of March. Photo's Dr's Letter (that I had to pay for) extra x-rays. Answered it point by point with a explanation letter too. Got my MP involved explaining to him Borderline personality disorder as they will not except anything off the internet, Letter showing triple foot fusion. In 5 days they DWP skimmed the evidence and have left the decision as the same basic rate. Which equals £7 a day. Less then the living earning hourly wage. crying and sickened. Oh well on ward to the tribunal I suppose xx

The PIP Appeal guide has links to the SSCS1 form that you will need to complete and the Submissions guide has a complete example that you can use to help you fill it in, you do not need to provide detailed reasons at this stage for your request.

Once your appeal is accepted the DWP will prepare their submission to the hearing and send you a copy, whilst you should wait until you receive this to finish and submit your own, you should start to prepare your own case, an increased award will only be made by your showing that you score the extra points for one, so I would start by going back through your PIP2, the assessment report and the PIP Claim guide to see how you might show this is the case.

If you have further questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.

Found out after receiving the actual letter by post, that they said I had not sent any evidence, when I spoke to someone on the phone, they agree they received it within the date and time allocated and that the DWP Lady has not seen it. I still Have to go a head with tribunal. What I find most annoying is you have to do it with in one month of the mandatory appeal letter date mine is the 5th April but I only received it on the 13th of April. They openly admit their letters take 7-10 days. I am going to phone again Tuesday to get the dates I asked for mandatory appeal and the date line/time and hopefully a name too. Thankyou Gordon
