filling out the AR1 form was created by fastmoggy
Hi, trying to fill out the AR1 form which were struggling with, the letter only came 0n the 4th and they want it back by the 28th so in some desperation here.
Questions 10 and 11 relating to Planning and following a journey and Moving around.
That assessment she lost all but 4 points of her mobility component despite all the medical reports. My question is, do we tick the No Change box OR do we tick the harder box and resubmit the evidence which most is within the 2 year limit?
Thanks in advance

Understanding that indicating that her mobility is not as previously assessed will raise the chances of a face to face assessment, I would mark the tick boxes "see below" and explain how she is currently effected in the comments section and additional pages as necessary.

You will need to explain in detail her restrictions and provide relevant evidence as you can, even if it was submitted as part of her original claim.

Basically you should treat this section as if it was a new claim.

One point to check. If she is over 65 now then she cannot receive a Mobility award, even if she qualifies for one, so if this is the case then it may simply the process not argue the Mobility.

Thanks for your reply which has been very helpful.
Firstly she is well below 65!
The DWP are well aware of her mobility issues but when they changed the criteria on how far she could go 'Aided or unaided' that's were she lost her mobility award like many others I guess.
As her representative I did advise her to appeal against the last decision but due to the psychological problems caused by her condition and relentless questioning from the HCP , she had to have therapy. due to the added stress and anxiety she declined to avoid losing the little award she had left.
We have had to attend many 'face to face' interviews, the last one taking 1 hour and 40 minutes! so nothing uncommon but in my view totally unnecessary given all the medical evidence supplied.!
our other problem now is that we haven't had the required time needed to complete this form as it arrived on the 4th of April to be with them by the 28th!, I will call them Monday and try and get a stay of execution so to speak as we try and get all the available evidence needed.
Thanks again for your reply, it has been most helpful and reassuring !
