Hi Guys,

Just a quick update. Both Pete and Jim are still in hospital and will remain so for the next week or so.

Pete's wife e-mailed me yesterday to say Pete is out of ICU, but on Coronary Care following an angioplasty. When he's discharged, his wife is taking him to the Yorkshire Dales for 2 weeks to convalesce.

My husband Jim, as well as his MS and brittle asthma has now got fluid on his lung and is undergoing tests to determine the cause and treatment. When he's discharged, I'm taking him to my sisters in West Cumbria to recuperate.

This means that the only qualified benefits advisers who can come online to answer queries is Crazydiamond or Steve Donnison, the site owner.

At the moment the forums are fairly quiet, but if things become busy, then it's inevitable that members may have to wait for replies to any benefits queries.

Can I again remind members of the ' search forum' facility which enables members
to search the forum, as often similar queries have been answered before.

I hope you are all keeping as well as possible.

Kind regards and take care.

Pat.

I'm sorry to hear about Pete and Jim. They put so much hard work into helping us on here with issues that matter so much to us, which I'm sure we all appreciate. I hope both of them make a speedy and good recovery.

I too thank them (and everyone else) for their hard work. My successful (although agonizing)tribunal on Monday was definitely made more achievable by pointers and information gathered from this site. But yes, I wish them both a speedy and comfortable recovery.

Margaret.
