I called ESA dept this morning and was told that my son has been put in the support group.

He has not had a medical and it's only 13 days since I posted the ESA 50 questionaire.

I know I should really wait for written confirmation but they even told me the exact amount extra which has been processed and will go into the bank tomorrow so I'm feeling pretty confident that the information is correct.

Thanks to the B and W team for terrific guidance and advice :)

Hi Twilight,

That's excellent news, you must be very relieved. Thanks for letting us know.

Thank you for letting B&W know the successful outcome of your son's application for ESA, and his inclusion in the support group.

You have suffered more than your fair share of trials and tribulations throughout the ESA claim process, with it seems every conceivable barrier having been presented along the way. Thankfully both for yourself and your son, it has turned out to be a case of "all's well that ends well" and through your perseverance, he has finally received the correct award of ESA that he deserves.

Thanks Steve and CD :)

The letter confirming the award has now arrived. It doesn't say anything about length of award/review.
What happens now in that respect? Is there a set time period for ESA awards?
