TOPIC: DLA the cooking test

Re:DLA the cooking test 6 years 11 months ago #13845

Hi Elaine,

R U like me and leave the cooker on if you have been the last one at it. This particular thing use to cause manys a row in my house, over the last lot of years my other half just automatically goes and checkes the cooker after I have been the last one at it.

Steve,
You've no idea what a relief to my mind it is to have that affirmation, thank you so much. You have reassured me that I am making a legitimate claim - my GP the other week just made me feel such a scrounger.

Many thanks

It's not just leaving the oven on, or the hob, I set fire to oven-gloves too. My last notable episode was defrosting muffins on a paper towel in the microwave, then putting them under the lighted grill still on the paper towel.

Good job my husband was out or I'd still be in the doghouse.

Hi Elaine,

Sadly part of the government's tactics to reduce the benefits bill appears to be to try to lower claimants in the estimation of other members of society, making people more reluctant to claim.

It's very ugly and it's very hard to withstand.

Good luck with your appeal.

Steve
