TOPIC: had a medical today

had a medical today 6 years 9 months ago #14875

they now have nurses doing the medicals

but after asking about my pain/weakness in left arm,leg and that the consultant thought it might have been a mini stroke, she left the room to speak to a doctor. Then asked me wether i would like another appt or if i would like to wait 30 minutes to see the doctor as she wasn't medically qualified enough.

she had my incapacity questionaire with her and she seemed nice

when i later seen the Doctor he didn't have my incapacity form and just starting asking me questions about my health problems and writing notes down on a single sheet of A4, i never seen him type anything in the computer once.

At first i felt relieved after the medical, now i feel really sad, my head is going over and over and over the medical and i cant seem to let it go.

I dont think i could go another 8 months on £40 odd a week life is so much of a struggle as it is.

Hi There

I recently had my DLA medical and couldn't let it go either, re running things in my head and thinking did they hear me and did I say the right thing, it is very hard but try and get into a film or a book to take your mind off it for a bit and I have my fingers crossed you get the right outcome :0)
