Work focused Interview after IB tribunal was created by mariebach
Hi all.I just wanted to pick anyones brain regarding my work focused interview in 10 days time.
I had my IB tribunal last week and was successful.I now have 18 points (the panel did not even look at mental health issues, just at my mobility)so my IB should be reinstated in the next few weeks.
My question is this:-
Do I now have to attend all of the work focused interviews?.I believe that you should have 6 interviews, but I am not sure what the protocol is when my IB has been reinstated.
Also should I take with me the consultant neurologist's letter and the other additional information that I presented to the tribunal, and the tribunal decision slip?
Any help will be welcome.
Many Thanks.

Unfortunately you do have to attend all the work-focused interviews regardless of whether your IB has been reinstated on appeal. In fact, perverse as it may seem, a successful PCA or IB appeal would normally trigger a WFI if you weren't already attending one next week.

There would be no harm in taking the information as indicated in your post to the WFI, and showing the information to the personal adviser. It may well prove the extent of the limitations that you may experience in seeking future employment, if you are not working already?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
