DLA RENEWAL was created by Mingo
Hi,

I have just joined as I had my DLA renewal pack, which has now taken me two days to complete with the help from this site.

I was awarded higher rate mobility last time which we used to get the car. My question is, if I end up having a medical, how can I prove my symptoms as the majority of my problems are invisible to everyone else?

I would welcome any advice. I may be jumping the gun, but I am so worried that it is going to stop even though my MS has got worse.

Have you referred to the guide "70 Questions You’re Likely To Be Asked At Your DLA Medical" in the DLA resources section under the heading DLA medicals available HERE.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi, is your GP or specialist aware that your symptoms are deteriorating? Have you seen them or requested a letter of support to go with your renewal forms?
As for invisible illnesses ( I have ME), it's the way that your symptoms affect you and the way that you carefully word it on the forms.Do you have mobility problems because of your MS?
