DLA renewal claim denied was created by bewitched3
Sorry for this long winded message, I have just found this site and would like some advice and to vent abit.

I have been claming DLA for the last 2 years as I have Mobilty problems leaving me unable to walk far, I use a wheelchair when out, the chair has only been used since last month, however the dla was informed of it. I aslo suffer from anixety and depression from the problem and pain. I was getting higher mobilty nad middle carer allowence. The mobilty going towards a car to help me get about.
However when I filled in the renewal form I asummed it was just a formality like with my IB form. It was denied and said I was not entitled to any mobilty or car components. I appealed the decision and asked them to look at it again. This was denied as well. Which concidering I was awarded it the last time I applied, with symptoms, less then now. I don't understand why they have turned it down. The letter reads like they are talking about a different person. In fact one of the reasons read 'although you have some restrictions, you are not unable or virtually unable to walk' concidering I have to use wheelchair when out I can't see there reasoning. I feel like they think I making it all up and am just trying to get money of the state. I'm so angry and feeling so low about this.

Having already appealed the decision once, Is a tribunal the only way to go? What should I expect to happen now?

Thanks for any help/advice you can give. I'm so glad I found this site as I think I would have wound myself up all weekend worring about it.
