Hi Ron,

Partners of claimants can be required to attend WFIs. Failure to attend and participate can result in the claimant's benefits being sanctioned.

The actual interview procedure is the same as for claimants. You can read more about them in the members area.

If your partner is working, does this apply?.

If a partner works 16 hours or more per week, the WFIs for partners provision does not apply.

Oh see my typing is all screwed up again! Just to say my parther is not working so clearley applies it seems. They sometimes don't know what these things can do to people. I've coped through it ok but not sure about my partner given her own problems. I really worry about her.
