Hi,

Child Tax Credits or indeed any tax credits is not an area we are qualified to give advice.

We can only give advice on the DWP benefits that we produce guides on in the members area.

Tax credits are dealt with by HMRC, not the DWP.

Try your local CAB or Community Legal Advice

Maybe one of our members with CTC experience can offer advice.

Good luck.

Jim

Tax credits is a pain and cannot really be talked about in general terms ... However it will not affect any award of IB.

If you have been told there is an overpayment , and you are still in receipt of tax credits then they will take it back at the rates described here
