:laugh: Oh, I hate all these medical problems we have!

How is everyone today?

I asked for incontinence pads from my GP ove ra year ago and she then referred me to the Incontinence clinic, which was a long wait for an appointment, but htey now see me every 6 months and after the first 2 sessions (2nd one recently) I mentioned about pads being so expensive and the nice nurse is ordering me some on the NHS. They are for both types of incontinence, but they looked a bit smaller than the ones I have been buying.

Is there a support group for people with incontninence challenges?

I agree with you totally Storm. It is a hard topic to discuss and it's good to know that we can and that the support is here to be able to discuss it.

It's a shame the people who do the medicals and make the decisions don't realise just how hard it is to live with and how limiting it is. It's pretty obvious someone with these issues cannot work, yet, when I had my medical although the nurse detailed it very specifically on my medical form the decision makers obviously decided to overlook it. Now I'm sitting tight waiting for an appeal decison in my favour with everything crossed.

Hi, I have been following this thread with interest for some time and also feel you should all be proud of yourselves for being so open and honest.

On a slightly different note, Kathy gave me this link for something else earlier but I thought it would be of interest to anyone suffering incontinence. They do seem to cover the topic in a big way!;

It may not be of any help, just interesting what ATOS health people are told to look out for.

Best wishes,
Rachel
