Hi Lisa

I am sorry that you have had to go through all the mess that the government feels the need to treat us all like scroungers!!!

I am sure your hearing will go in your favour, I went through tribunal last December after waiting a long 16 months!! They were very nice and apologised for the waiting period and that the whole thing had caused more pain and suffering (understatement of the year)......

I went from 0 points to 23 points at tribunal, I will think about you on the 30th and look forward to hearing your positive outcome.

Hi Lisa
Just wanted to wish you well with your appeal hearing.
I'm so sorry to hear about the change in your health -the extra stress of the appeal hearing on top of this isn't what you need right now. I'm hoping for a positive outcome for you, both with your appeal & your latest illness.
Good luck
maggie

Hi Lisa

I won my appeal going from 0 to 23 points....

Remember at the appeal they are only interested in how you were at the time of the medical assessment. Emphasise that you can NOT walk 50 metres without extreme pain etc this currently will get you 15 points which is enough to get ESA....If you had supporting evidence for your higher mobility DLA this should help as they share the sane criteria re walking 50 metres, particularly if the DLA accepted that you could not do this at the time of your original claim.

Given that your health has detoriated make sure you inform the benefit office but decline making a new claim whilst awaiting your appeal, if you lose then submit a new claim immediately based on your current health condition, similarly if you win but are in work related group and you think you should be in the support group consider a new claim rather than appealing as the new information needs to be taken into account

Good Luck on 30th
